In 2003, we were hired by this internationally recognized hotel to promote its mid-week travel. We successfully accomplished this by promoting its status among celebrities and increased its visibility with some of the property’s recognized guests. (Please note: We were not allowed to publicize any of the famous guests unless the guests themselves had done some promotion on it). In September and October of 2003, our work was monitored by our client from the previous year. In this period of time, 150 more room nights were sold than the year prior and 106 more room nights than in 2001. We assisted increasing mid-week occupancy by more than 20%. Since the resort did not advertise, we can only surmise that information was passed to the consumer and business market through a targeted media relations plan.
We did this by:
- Bringing journalists to stay at the resort
- Bringing celebrities to stay at the property with a media component
- Donating packages to select non-profit organizations such as the Dining By Design in New York and the Andre Agassi Foundation in Las Vegas
- Creating and distributing targeted press releases to trade and luxury travel publications
Additionally, we delivered $21,000 in group business by the World Stunt Awards. The promotions department for the World Stunt Awards purchased gift certificates to give to the publicists of the on-air talent for assisting in bringing their respective clients to televised show. This came about from our relationships with acknowledged number one hotels in the world.

- Entertainment Tonight (television)
- The New York Times Fashion of The Times (Sunday Supplement)
Furthermore, San Ysidro Ranch recently came out with a Golf Package aligning itself with Sandpiper Golf Club, a private golf course, which was owned by the same owner as The Ranch. We were able to procure media to stay at the hotel, which for the first time in its 111th year history had a golf course to promote.
